With dazzlingly executed detail and delicately frozen in time, a white swan is gliding on pale blue lake inside this faceted oval shaped rock quartz gem capsule. The clear stone allows the swan’s delicate features to give it a lifelike image, and portrays an expression of peace and tranquility. Splendidly envisioned and meticulously painted with the finest brush strokes, the three dimensional feathered swan in a hologram like image, has been made by intaglio cutting - a procedure utilizing reverse cutting from the underside of the stone. Swans represent beauty and grace and are associated with loyalty. To Sevan, birds suggest freedom and the freedom of expression through his work. The oxidized sterling silver ring incorporates sparkling white and fancy colored diamonds, and inlaid with polished 24 karat gold. Each piece is signed, dated, and finished inside the gallery.
