With flawlessly executed detail, these one of a kind hand painted carved deep blue Persian turquoise ring showcases a majestic sea scape scene. Splendidly envisioned and wonderfully handcrafted, this three dimensional work of art has been made by intaglio cutting - a procedure utilizing reverse cutting from the underside of the stone. Meticulously painted to accuracy with the finest of brush stokes, the miniature underwater koi sea scape scene, showcases the fish swimming in the center of the carved oval blue topaz, which is frozen inside this gem capsule. They are surrounded by sparkling diamonds, cascading alongside Sevan’s world renowned technique of setting micro mosaic crushed turquoise, which is the outline for the 24 karat gold starfish and sea life. To Sevan, the Bosporus is hypnotic, serene, and the gateway to the East. He fondly remembers sailing with his father as a child, and now when time allows, he leisurely sails with his family. The ring is crafted in oxidized sterling silver and inlaid with polished 24 karat gold. Each piece is signed, dated, and finished inside the gallery.
